An initiative assisting healthcare providers optimize management of postoperative pain in Europe

Join a challenging project to improve management of your patients’ perioperative pain!

The European Pain Federation (EFIC) and PAIN OUT invite healthcare providers -anesthesiologists or surgeons or nurses - treating patients undergoing surgery to apply for participation in a project which aims to improve management of perioperative pain in European hospitals.

This is a pilot project that will be carried out in Austria, Belgium, France, Italiy, Netherlands, Serbia, Spain and Switzerland. Once the pilot is complete, EFIC and PAIN OUT aim to make the program accessible to providers across Europe.

The program will take place over a period of two years during which collaborators will carry out a Quality Improvement project in their hospital using methodology provided by PAIN OUT. Participating sites will receive some funding to contribute towards costs associated with running the project. Selection of participants will be made by EFIC's Task Force on Improving Management of Perioperative Pain.

Deadline for applications is 01 May 2017; please send the application form below to pain-out@med.uni-jena.de.
